College Experience
My college experience was one of maturing as a young adult and learning to address problems— whatever they may—as I go forward in life. During my 4-year college experience at University of Rochester, I studied accounting, economics, statistics, calculus, credit & banking and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Economics. In addition to the core courses, I also took a course in Career Counseling—which I have been able to apply to help other students on their career choices and leadership. During my college years, like many other students, I worked and studied at the same time since my family was depending upon me for financial support. However, that experience strengthened me and prepared me for what life was going to be after college. That experience also became an amazing opportunity for me to make friends from different parts of the world, not to mention the wonderful host family I am still connected to today. My host family made it possible for my Mother to attend my college graduation in Rochester, New York in 2019—one of the proudest moments of my life!
